Hi Everyone......

Some Tips for Better Night Hunting

For the Owners of the 140/170 RMSM's,140/170/240 spot lights and the 140/170 Night Hunters.....and all Driving Lights.....

Bulb adjustment for Tighter Brighter Beams.......

If it seems that your light Beam is not tight enough when you have your Housing rolled in for Max beam power (showing a somewhat Dark center) the bulb is in to far and needs to be pulled out a Little.......

To Adjust you Bulb if Needed, turn your Housing Counter-clockwise while holding your Handle or base and remove housing....

Use cotton balls or cotton gloves, and slightly pull bulb out (do not Twist, bulbs have 2 bi-polor pins holding bulbs into base by spring loaded clips) a little say 1/8" increments and replace the housing and check the beam each time, till you have a Perfect beam, round and tight Light....with housing turned in Clockwise.....

For New Owners who are unaware of it, your Lightforce Light rolls from a Beam to a Flood light by rolling the Head, Just like a Mag-Light does.......

Be carefull its Glass and breakable, if broken it can and will cut your fingers, if bulb is Smashed or Twisted......Be careful.........

Do Not install by Hand,(Bare Fingers) there can be No Oil on bulb, if you touch the bulb by hand, clean it with Alcohol and tolit paper, before re-mounting the Housing.....

(Human)Oil on bulb will shorten the life of your Bulb.....

Do Not put your Fingers inside the Housing Globe, if you do and leave a finger print, do not try to clean it, it will scratch the iner-Globe and lessen your Light Out-put...

........................................................................................................................

Winter use:

When charging your battery, try to charge it in a warm room so the battery is above 70 degs or so......this will enable you to have the full-Amount (Battery) Time of Hunting light Aval....the times for alloted usage from Lightforce is based on 70 Degs F.

If you let your Battery get cold, as it cools down so will your Amps of power for your Light, will Deminish.....

If Hunting in Very cold Weather, you can put a (Small Hand Warmer)4-8 hour pack (Iron-ore) in you battery bag to insure long battery life in the cold...

Also suggested to use a 6 Pack Insulated cooler w/strap to keep your BPS/Battery bag in, this will keep it dry from snow and help keep your hand (Fingers Nimble to turn the BPS Knob) and guard the battery from the cold......

The Cig male and female Scoketts/BPS/on/off switch and the switch on the scope light cord are (Not water Proof), they will short out if wet or have been in the rain.....

To keep the corderd switch (Scope lights)out of the Mosture,Snow,Rain you can use a Heavy duty Zip-lock bag and roll it around the switch, tie it off at both ends with ty-wraps.....around an inch or two from the switch.........

Is there any way to create a section that contains very useful tips such as this?
