Less felt recoil and some noise reduction. I have a 243 that came with a muzzle break and I removed it after the first shot. I would like to try one but may wait to see if BATFE will change suppressor classification to an accessory and repeal the tax stamp and eliminate all the hassle of NICS and trusts ETC.Thanks to all that replied
