Man O Man... the more I watch that show the more I want a 7 mag for reaching WAY OUT THERE. I know it's more than just a caliber... those rifles seem to be state of the art designed..
and it's more about knowing the rifle's ability and it's scope setup.

I know it's one thing to have the right equiptment... and another knowing how to use it... I should have learned that one when I was 16.

WOW.... AWESOME STUFF....

Makes me want to just go out there and run camera for them just to be around it.

Yeah and then you can see all of what they don't show you on TV!

Plenty of calibers out there don't get to hung up on the 7 mag. Remember it always comes down to the person pulling the trigger not the caliber, high dollar optics, some persons name on the rifle.

LOL, I wish we knew!!!
Although LR Pursuit is the best LR show out their IMHO, Aaron Davidson comes across well, and is a very smart dude, I also enjoy "some" of their tips they show every once in a while. Make no mistake the 7mm round is one of the best rounds in terms of ballistics unless you move up to the heavier .338's.

Nothing wrong with their rifle if you have the coin. Cooper builds an accurate rifle. But, you could do more for your money with a competent 'smith then getting a scope turret made or just buying one of the Huskema scopes if you like that set-up. One thing is for sure, you probably would love the long range shooting. It' a kick.

The Best of The West uses Cooper Rifles. Gunwerks(Long Range Pursuit) uses different things. A friend of mine went and seen them and dropped $15,000 dollars on two Gunwerks rifles and scopes. Needless to say I wasnt very impressed with the craftsmanship. And after a while neither was my friend. They both ended up getting sent back for touch up work. They shoot good now but as mentioned they are nothing better than anything out there with a good barrel, action, properly bedded stock, and the right load. Time behind the rifle is a must.

I know that things do happen behind the camera... because I use to Co-Produce Quest Video Productions... it's amazing as to what goes on... I have to over look stuff to enjoy it anymore... since I've been involved with so much in the past.

Ya, its a Stiller Predator action, Jewell trigger, Braux or Rock Creek barrel, and a pretty nice stock with a block bedding system. A very nice system topped of with their G7 scope by Nightforce.

I'm a fan of their show and I have no doubt the Davidsons have a handle on long range shooting but at $7000 it's too much for me.

I've seen clips of the guys on the show running CNC machines and such. They may have just been visiting their makers factories. Idk for sure. Maybe their "design" is protected somehow??.
