I use AA#5 in my .45 ACP, it is just a little slower than Unique, but it seems to produce less leading with softer cast bullets and meters through the volumetric measure very accurately .... much more consistently than Unique, which is a flake powder.
I also used it in my .357 Magnum in preference to Unique for medium power target loads for the same reasons.
