Why would they include Barnes bullets in their load data if it wasn't considered when they put the data in there? Yea, Hodgdon data is fine in my opinion for whatever bullets they have listed.

That disclaimer, or one similar to it is in every reloading manual, and on the sites (including Hodgdon) that have reloading data. It's the "be smart when doing this stuff" disclaimer.
