Kinda wierd maybe but I’m looking for someone to possibly make a version of this. It’s a buttstock ammo carrier with an elastic loop on one end and a Velcro strap on other end. Basically an ammo card with elastic. Company is out of business and I’d like a smaller version. Anyways if ya want to tackle it holler at me, thanks!

i used a slip on one. one day during deer season i was on a drive. when i finished i noticed i only had one shell left in the holder. now i carry an ammo wallet in my coat pocet.

we only need one round anyway...right 🤪

If you're not opposed to leather being used as the main body, I could add elastic to hold the cartridges or use leather and then use elastic and velcro to hold it onto the rifle. Imagine it'd run somewhere in the $75 range. I'd probably need some measurements of the stock and the caliber so everything fits right and tight. Pics aren't what your looking for but show some of my work.

Nice Work!!

just noticed this thread . Just mail it to me, and I copy it . It looks ( in Pic. ) to be a real simple pattern. It pretty much what I am stocked with in webbing's and elastic's .
PM me with your info if wanting .

Well boys and girls, IndexFinger got er done for me. Exactly what I wanted and how I wanted it built. Top notch materials and craftsmanship.
I know it’s not most guys cup of tea to have anything hanging on the buttstock nowdays with the type of stocks your running but this is my kind of deal. I wanted some thin Velcro sewn on the bottom so I can put a strip on the stock and this thing locks down and ain’t moving. Very solid little setup. Gonna get another in black hopefully.
Thanks IndexFinger!
Couple quick pics on a factory stock Tikka Roughtech 243.

Loops are snug, as good as anything commercially made that I’ve ever had. If I would do anything more to this design it would be to sew a flap, at the bottom, that would come up over the whole thing and attach at the top with velcro (noisy) or a sewn in magnet maybe. When undone it would fall down and you have access. Ammo would be protected from elements or from falling out. Kind of like a foward opening flap on a chest rig.

As for loop integrity, I don’t leave ammo in them, when hunting is over I remove it. That way it doesn’t get stretched out permanently. It’ll last a long time.
This is intended to be a little minimalist, I don’t like the zip pouches and stuff like that I see people using on their stocks. To bulky.

I have those as well. Love them.
The one I have above is basically meant for fast round in the chamber for multiples or runners when the rifle is empty. Much faster for me than belt carry etc.
