Seems to me that person would be you? All he did was tell the guy where to look. Unless I missed something?

Seems like an answer to a question. Tony had started a lurcher breeding program and I'm sure it with with proven stock like all his other dogs.

You want a dog, do your own looking, You wanna buy a dog from TONY TEBBE, HAVE AT IT. There are lots of dogs that would fit the bill for what you want.

I know guys in eastern WA, southern ID, and eastern WY with good stags. How far does he want to travel? There are lots of stag guys in the Dakotas, but I cant personally vouch for most.
Is he wanting coyote dogs? Will he be running them from a jumpbox? Has he ever hunted stags? Does he have any stags right now?

Take care.

Don't be pointing fingers at me.

What I own is my personal stock and dogs. No dogs for sale. Check Vargy's website, there is sometimes good stags available. Good head dogs are hard to come by though, as guys keep the good ones.

jglynn-It depends who you ask...the names folks call coyote dogs varies.
Greyhound=Dog for the track (hotblood) but some call all coyote running dogs "greyhounds"
Staghound=Blend of running dogs (greyhound, deerhound, wolfhound etc..) selected specific for coyotes. Some only call the ones with hair stags, some call any dog used for coyotes stags.
The differance between a stag and a greyhound is like the differance between a top fuel dragster and a Baja 1000 trophy truck. Both fast, but one is alot better in rough ground.
Typically the "stag" has more hunt, and the "greyhound" has more speed.

Take care.

Been a while since I've been on here. Been busy cat hunting. Thanks for the replies. I appreciate it. My # is (406)231-3895 if anyone has time to talk dogs. Looking for a pup or two to raise up and chase coyotes with. I've raised and hunted hounds all my adult life and had a few bird dogs too, never been around stags. Looks like a lot of fun. Thank you all.
