Lost my Mojo Critter topper

That's downright civil there.

I've lost more than one and found out you can make them out of speedometer cable and fake fur from the craft shop.

Speedometer Cable! I've trying to find some "springs" like they use, without much luck. Thanks for that little tidbit of info.

Hey Bobtails, I lost one of my ARs, any extras laying around you want to send me?

That is why this is such a great site, great people here!

i had to do the same thing! one of my tails fell off the FIRST time i had it out. Fake fur from the craft store fixed it for about $2 (i was there with my wife of course, as a man, i would never frequent the craft store alone, lol)

lol.. I walk around in every "yarn" and "craft" store I get close to. Anytime anyone gets within 6 feet I say, "I tie flies". They got no idea what I'm talking about - but I feel better.

I hear ya. I think I'd rather get caught browsing thru the adult videos in the video rental store than caught in a craft store, lol.

(Honestly I don't frequent either one.)

i don't have one BUT if it was me i would get one of those long things with a magnet for getting bolts that you drop while working on cars and make diff. colored ones with nuts or washers in them.. watch them make a mill.$$ lol

I feel better too - when I pick up a life's worth of materials for the same price as them little bags sold in fly shops..
Don't get me wrong, I like to support the small shops, for hooks, line, etcs, but for beads, yarns, and other synthetics, craft stores are the way to go.

p.s. - can't you guys just use a tree-rat tail as a topper?

Yep, squirrel tail slipped over the cable and secured and a tanned squirrel hide over the enclosure. Attach string to the bottom of unit and hang from a tree limb. Turn on and have fun.

Mojo website has them. I've already lost 2 to owls. Hope they choke on them and die. Last time I had 2 Yotes coming in and a barn owl grabbed it in one swoop

had a falcon grab mine but he changed his mind.
i never even saw it dive, man they are fast like a lightning flash and it had it on the ground.
funny thing was it was the vary first time i used it.
i was thinking "if this is how long these last this could get expencive"

It's actually pretty amazing that MOJO lists so many parts for the Critter. For being a fairly inexpensive piece of equipment, you can get most parts from their website and generally the S/H is pretty reasonable as well. Go MOJO!
