Well I got to take my mojo critter out for the frist time this evening it was about 4 I had my mojo set out with the foxpro furry. Right by it playing the woodpecker about 5 mins into it a owl came in and snatched the fuzzy part right off the base it landed in a tree near by I went over to see if I could find it but I didn't I guess he ate it anyone else have this happened? ?

I have hear of that happening. Get a piece of 550 cord or trout line string and make a tether about 10 ft. long for it. Use one of the small metal tent stakes to anchor it or tie it to a rock, limb, etc. It will jerk it away from him when he hits the end of the string.

I was curious about this and glad you posted. I have not had my decoy taken, but where I live there are Eagles during certain times of the year. I have been swooped several times by a giant Baldy--actually very cool to have happen and I keep waiting for my mojo critter to take to the skies. Those giants come to the call and the closest was 12" above my head. Think I will work on an anchor system as mentioned above.

Youre joking right???

We have a lot of eagles too haven't had any come to my call yet. This owl just took the very end the part that wiggles I still for the little rod I guess I am just going to gule me some stuffto it.

I actually was calling the other day and had a young eagle land next to me in the tree.... scared the heck out of me! (dont see too many around here) Im sure if I would have a mojo out he would have been all over it.

Yeah, I could see that happening. I lost my spring and critter the other night simply because the little key screw that holds it to the base came loose. Gotta tighten that thing before and after each stand.

I'm pretty sure you can. Check out MoJo's website.

I once had an owl steal the little rabbit topper off my FoxPro Jack in the Box. Dang thing cost $20 bucks to replace. I hope the $%&*@!!! choked on it.

I was duck hunting one time, and a Golden Eagle came down and carrie my decoy and anchor off. It took it about 1/3 mile before it realized it wasn't real and dropped it from about 800 feet up.

You can make a new one. If you are talking about the spinning thing then you just need speedometer wire, fake fur, zip ties and a half hour. Fake fur from a craft store. I always carry a spare spinning top thingy.

If you are talking about the fur on the base that's even easier with the fake fur and some velcro.

I have not yet had one take/hit mine, but have had lots of birds take really close looks at it. I had a big hawk hovering 10 feet above it in a strong wind. He was fun to watch....
