Lucky duck revolt for coon calling?

Are these good callers? Would it be good for coon calling and some night time coyote calling? Looking to get into calling coons and need to get a caller

I use a Foxpro FX3 for my coon den calling and a Foxpro C24 for my other calling. What ever caller you get, make sure it at least has coon pups distress and coon fight. Those are my two I use the most. Lucky Duck might be a good call, but haven't used one.

I can speak from experience, Lucky Duck games calls suck. I have hunted coyotes for over 30 years and don't abuse my equipment. I couldn't get the batteries to stay in the remote. The call disconnects. The wires for the caller are put in so tight that when its -20 outside they snap. I owned a foxpro for over 10 years and never had an issue or needed to replace anything. The Lucky Duck remote didn't even last one season. I emailed for support and they wanted to charge me for another remote. Never buy one of these $600 pieces of junk.

Ive seen this copy and pasted post as a reply on most every lucky duck caller videos on YouTube... Whats up with that???

Seems he does not care for Lucky Duck calls, had a remote problem and Rick had a new one in my hands in 3 days at no charge.I judge businesses and people on how they treat me.

I started out with an Icotec GC350 as my first E-call. Never had used one before as I had never heard one that sounded as good as a mouth call. Wife got me a LD Revolt for Christmas a few years ago and I have been thoroughly impressed with it. I recently have had a couple issues with it but I think they are low battery related problems. (Have not investigated them very far yet). As for your original question, I have called a lot of coyotes in with the Revolt both day and night. A lot of preloaded sounds that work great and pull them in on a string! I'm not a coon hunter but stumbled across a big cottonwood a couple weeks ago with several holes in it on the way to a coyote stand. Coyotes came up dry on that one but on the way back since I had kids with me, we stopped at that cottonwood. Set the Revolt down 15 yards or so from the base of the tree and got the kids set up with their hmr's. Turned a coon fight on full blast and within 15 seconds had coons pouring out of that tree so dang fast the kids couldn't keep up with them! Ended up emptying their rifles and only got 3 of them. I don't know how many came out of that cottonwood but I was even bumfuzzled! So I'd say yeah, it'd work great for coons!
