M193 Ammo

I assume that you're asking about ammo quality - not about hunting with it!

I'd take a look over at ar15.com for first-hand opinions. From the reading over there, it's good quality. Personally, the little bit of M193 that I own is all Winchester Q3131.

I have used the Prvi ammo in my ARs, and it is good stuff. At 100yds, it printed to nearly the exact point of impact as the Black Hills 55gr soft points I had sighted in with, which makes practice more economical. The groups weren't as good as Black Hills, but were still very respectible. Buy all you can of this ammo.

only experience I've had with PVRI in 223 was the 2004 headstamp.

out of 10 shots, 5 had primers blown out and too high a pressure signs.

I contacted them, they quickly had me ship back the ammo and offered to replace it with my choice of ammo.

the return ammo I got was very good.

I like it.
