Magpul M93 rules!!!

I got a Magpul M93A2 off the EE on AR15.com. I had not handled one before it arrived. WOW!! I am impressed. Great looks (coyote brown) and is rock solid . I think I could chop a tree down with it. I can't wait to put it on a lower.
 
yes, the M93 is nice...but the M95 is the cat's meow...at least IMO. The M95 was suppose to be in production in July...but I heard there were some delays. I haven't been to magpul's site lately...but you should take a look to see if there is any information on the M95.
 
Everytime I get in touch with Magpul they tell me 6 to 8 weeks. After 6 months, I'm startin to think they're not really sure about that timeframe. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

The 95 looks like it be pretty sweet for bench work.

What I'd like to know, is where I can get an AR grip that resembles that of a wide-body 1911.

Have you held the MIAD grip that Magpul offers?? I think it is wide. I like the large grip on H&K pistols and this is alot like it. It is the best grip I have ever held.

Steve A.: Thanks, I'll take a look at that grip. I saw the pictures of all the modular parts and pieces. I'd like to put a beefier grip on my M16, but it'd interfere with securing it in the military weapon rack, so that wont fly.

I just wonder what Armalite/Colt were thinking when they came up with the M16 grip design. Were they trying for the least possible comfort? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif

Last I heard about the M95 was limited production in September. Well here we are and no futher word.

It sounds like the M95 will be the second most wanted AR part next to the Shrike upper. Been waiting on that for a few years also....
