Magpul MOE vs CTR

I already have the CTR on my new gun but I was gona put the MOE on my bushmaster because the stock on there now rattles like crazy so what is the difference between the 2 the CTR fits tight and has no movement is the MOE the same.

The only difference I could see in them was the MOE didn't have the holes for sling attachment.

The new CTR's I've seen have a double lock system on the collapsable stock. Once you set the stock to the correct LOP, you can lock it down. I have the MOE and it works just fine, all depends on what you like best.

I have both. The MOE does not have the lock like the CTR, but it seems to work just fine with little movement on my carbine, and I like it a lot better than the standard 6-pos stock.

Honestly it will depend on how the MOE fits your particular extension as to whether or not it has slop. I suppose that's the advantage of the lock on the CTR.

Ya I like the CTR I have on my one gun it has no movement at all I was just gona try and save a few bucks and get the MOE but don't want the same issue that I have now with the stock bushmaster stock.

The CTR, as mentioned, will be a bit less "loose". Some MOE stocks have a bit of slop like your standard 4-6pos collapsible will have, and others don't, so your mileage may vary.

I like it. It locks up nice and tight like the CTR and has a little storage space if you need it, but it is more bulky. The cheek weld is a little different due to the storage tubes, but not bad.
