Im going to send CCI and email and let them know. I would like to see manufactures simply not sell their goods to a retailer that tries to sell for way above MSRP. or if they do they should markup the dealers cost 3 or 4 times and see if they keep buying.
Just FYI, it is a free market. Having fixed caps on pricing is socialist. Demand is through the roof, supply lines are maxed out, and businesses have fixed overhead to pay for. Dealers have to keep the lights on and pay employees, regardless of how full their shelves are. Higher profit margins are the only way to hedge demand, AND make enough profit to sustain when supply lines are so dry.
Like it or not, its a crappy market to buy or sell in right now, and will be for months to come.
Dealers sometimes have to adhere to a MINIMUM advertised price, but never a maximum. The market determines price. If they wouldn't sell at their asking price, they'd lower the price.
Don't pay for it, and let the price fall naturally as things cool down.
All prices are high right now, and most dealers have to worry about CONSUMERS trying to flip the product for 2-4 times what they sold it to the customer for. Dealers have all the overhead...
