magpul pmags recently sighted

They got 500 brown Pmag 30 rd window mags in on friday at our local Scheels. Had 30 left on Sat. Limited them to 2 per person to prevent ebay selling/gouging and to spread them out among customers. Picked up 4 between the wife and myself at $30.00 a piece. Sales guy said they had numerous offers to buy them all at above retail.

That price is above retail. Go to Magpuls web site. They talk about the gouging. They are keeping their price at $16.

Gives me some hope that the ones I backordered on 12-22 might be getting close to shipping. Thanks for the update.

Understand it's above retail but not as bad as other places and product was on hand. Def should have been purchasing earlier

my local dealer got some pmag 30 in black in. they were priced at $29.99. he sold me a couple at $28. guess it could have been better or worse.

I still have a standing b.o. at midway for some at $13.50+/- that I placed 12-25. I laugh at the thought of how inflated they've become and if that order will ever be filled.

I have an order with Mako as well, I'm sitting at bout 14 days right now. I did have some come in from Midsouth bout a wk & half ago. I think I placed that order around the 23rd.

Ouch!

Wow, I saw everything at a Freemont NE gun store, they had AR's, mags, lowers, 22lr shells, etc. Everything was at Gunbroker prices, because most of their business is through GB. 308 Pmag was listed at $129! A brick of bulk 22lr,$50. 100 CCI Minimags, $19. Complete lower receivers for $700.

And they had a HUGE pile of boxes to be shipped out. Doing a lot of business, and profiteering from the panic.

I was in at the local gander mt today to check on things, mainly looking for some blazer 22lr and some 9mm and like the last 5 times i was in there they had the bulk brick of cci "choot'em up" mini mags only i couldnt help to notice the $59 price tag!!!

Im going to send CCI and email and let them know. I would like to see manufactures simply not sell their goods to a retailer that tries to sell for way above MSRP. or if they do they should markup the dealers cost 3 or 4 times and see if they keep buying.

Just FYI, it is a free market. Having fixed caps on pricing is socialist. Demand is through the roof, supply lines are maxed out, and businesses have fixed overhead to pay for. Dealers have to keep the lights on and pay employees, regardless of how full their shelves are. Higher profit margins are the only way to hedge demand, AND make enough profit to sustain when supply lines are so dry.

Like it or not, its a crappy market to buy or sell in right now, and will be for months to come.

Dealers sometimes have to adhere to a MINIMUM advertised price, but never a maximum. The market determines price. If they wouldn't sell at their asking price, they'd lower the price.

Don't pay for it, and let the price fall naturally as things cool down.

All prices are high right now, and most dealers have to worry about CONSUMERS trying to flip the product for 2-4 times what they sold it to the customer for. Dealers have all the overhead...
