Magpul UBR, ACS, or ACS-L?

I have an Olympic Arms K16 SST on layaway that I will be picking up next month. It has the 16" bull barrel. I already know that I will be changing the stock out to either the Magpul UBR, ACS, or the ACS-L. These are the only options I am considering since I want the collapsible stock. I know that I want an adjustable stock with a good cheekweld and a enough weight to help balance out the rifle with the bull barrel. I would like to hear from those of you that have experience with these stocks and can tell me the real differences in them as far as cheekweld, adjustment, stability, durability, etc... Anything that you can think of that would be big pros or cons between these choices. Thanks in advance.

I like the cheek weld on the ACS as well!
It's by far my favorite buttstock for MY applications.
Locks up tight and has battery compartments for my lights...

ACS or ACS-L, depending on if you need the extra storage of the ACS or not. I have both and cheek weld seems pretty much the same. Actually the ACS-L replaced a UBR. Just couldn't get comfortable with the cheek weld of the UBR.

I like the ubr! Do you still have it? If its for sale I'm interested.

Between the ACS and the ACS-L, my main concern was the cheek weld. If the ACS is as good or even better than the ACS-L, then the ACS-L can be eliminated from the list for me. The ACS has a little more storage and weighs a little more because of it. I figured that if I still wanted the ACS to be even heavier after I got it on the rifle, then I could add weight in the storage compartments.
Does this make sense and seem like a reasonable idea? Please let me know if my thoughts are way off base.

You could certainly add weight to the ACS if you need to.
I stuff a bore snake in my extra compartment, but I know others that put some extra rounds in theirs...

For the price difference and the better cheek weld of the ACS, I would say add weight in the storage compartments as you suggested. I'm sure that will help balance out the bull barrel nicely.

I am REALLY leaning toward the ACS after some looking and from the input here. Unless someone can convince me otherwise, that will probably be what I go with.

I'm a big fan of the Magul ACS-L. They're not terribly expensive, and have a better LOP and cheek weld.

The ACS will have side saddle storage compartments for batteries, firing pins, or whatever else fits in them. The ACS-L won't have the side saddle storage, but has the same cheek weld and length of pull, and is a tad lighter.

1 more vote for the ACS-L. Replaced the plain M4 on my Bushmaster 308; it's like a completly differernt rifle. Softer, more controlled recoil - perceived. Oh, Buy it from JoeBob; he rules!

I ordered the Magpul ACS from JoeBobOutfitters and it is GREAT! Thanks for all of the help and advice and thanks to JoeBobOutfitters for a great price, great service, and a great t-shirt!

This. The compartments on the ACS will serve to store all sorts of things that will rattle around. If you HAVE to have the storage, look at the MFT BattleLink. You can store an escape vehicle in there. MFT BUS
