Making Handcalls - 4H

My son is in doing woodworking with 4H. He also is getting more interested in going out for coyotes. Why not mix the two and let him make his own call. But one of the stipulations in 4H is you need a "diagram" ...

Do any of you who make calls have any diagrams - outside of doing them in your head. Showing the start - block of wood - to finishing it?

Ya, I have done a lot of call designing in CAD during lunch at work and such. But it hasn't gone as far as doing a full diagram or drawing. One thing I have done on here that others have as well is taking pictures of the whole process. You might be able to take those pics and add those to a step by step document and use that. If you need drawn up diagrams then I guess it all depends on how far you want to go with it. Still with using the step by step photos you can go back and hand draw up the diagram. If you want to go as far as having computer (CAD) drawing or even just one full drawing that shows everything, then let me know and I will help him out with it.
