Farmer that lives across the road text me this morning he had a mangey fox harassing his hens. Went over this afternoon for the last 45 min of light. Had this mangey male come to platinum grey at about the 35 min mark. Shot him dead 10 yards from the X24.
I went out the other night looking for coyote kill but no body wanted to play except these two. I set up in old barn looking out 2nd floor window with call outside next to foundation. CF cottontail did the trick 30 minutes apart 20 yd shots.
