Manners Stocks

I live just under 2 hours where Manners Stocks are made. I had to make a run, for work, last week to pick up some plastic for a job we had and I knew Manners stocks was in the area. I looked them up and they were only a couple blocks away from where I picked up the plastic sheets. I figured, what the heck, I'm going to check them out.

I walked in and Robert was at the front desk (super genuine dude!). He asked me what I needed and told him more or less I was wanting to check the place out. Also, I really wanted to handle a couple of stocks before ordering one for my .223ai build. He showed me around and let me handle about a dozen stocks while I was there. Anything I wanted to look at he found it for me and let me check it out. He was handing me stuff left and right. All his personal competition rifles and whatnot.

Had me jump on one of the first stocks Tom Manners built that they had already put through [beeep] and back (set the stock up on blocks and drove over it with an F150 and did not break!!!)

Before I left there I finalized my order for an EH1A in a nifty color combo I think you guys will enjoy. Everybody there was great and very helpful! Even said hi to Tom Manners himself.

I just wanted to share my experience I had with this great company. This will be my 2nd Manners stock and will not be my last! I'm thinking of a 22 Creedmoor build with the new EH6A.

That is awesome! What are the specs of your 22 Creedmoor build?

It's a heavy rig mostly for prairie dogs. I'm waiting on the EH6A for a lighter predator rifle...

Defiance Deviant
Bartlein 7.5-6.5 gain twist at 26" Gap #7 contour
Manners T2A with M5 mini chassis

I'll post some pics when I get it back from Manners. Like I said, it's heavy, but it'll be great for prairie dogs.

Sounds like a meat-seeker! I can't wait to see it when it's done!

They are the only stock I will buy anymore. Eh1 in Elite Tac Moss layup is my all time favorite. My 22creed is sitting in an EH3 at the moment but will be moving to the Eh1 when it's ready. Seems like I just prefer the vertical grip. 223ai is in an Elite Tac Swamp Eh1, other 223ai is in a desert sage Eh1, 6.5 saum is in an EH3 elite tac moss... yeah, I need an intervention. Had a few others as well..

Probably one of Manners MCS stocks like the MCS-EH3 would be very similar to the McM HTG.

I'd say probably this one.

Manners MCS-T

Thank you all for answering my question. Manners has so many stocks on their site, it was hard to tell which was closest to the HTG. I have the McMillan HTG on a 6.5 Creedmoor build, and it really fits me good. I just hear so many good things about the Manners stocks, I'd like to check one out for the next build.
