Has anyone had any experience. I heard they are top notch scopes. I'm putting together a 300RUM back country rifle that I want to keep around or under 7.5 lbs. I'm looking hard at the 2.5-25 scope which would make it almost perfect for any situation weather dark timber or 1000 yards across a canyon. Plus they are on the light side in weight for a scope of that magnification. Thanks for your input.

I don't have one, but there has been well documented tracking issues with March.
It seems like a crap shoot. You either get one that performs great, or you get a lemon.
That said...the glass is undeniable. It's phenomenal considering the zoom ratio that it has. Something the rest of the industry hasn't figured out yet.

I would choose the Kahles 624i over the March myself. Love this scope. I have used it in all kinds of conditions. Longest distance so far is 1440 yards. I have the MOAK reticle. Best LR hunting scope IMO. OR maybe better put, my favorite LR hunting scope

While I have two of the K624I, and feel they are a fantastic scope and highly recommend them, they are not light and would not be something I would put on a back country hunting rifle that's around 7.5 pounds as the OP was asking.
