The M60 is a pretty good gun, especially for the money. There are some parts that will wear and you need to keep them clean for reliable functioning, but all in all for the money it is a tough gun to beat for an inexpensive .22LR semi-auto. I used to know an old feller that pretty much kept the "ice box freezer" full of squirrel, rabbit, and I have no doubt he killed the occasional meat deer and turkey with it too. He also kept the coons, possum, and coyotes respectful around his home place with that old gun. In fact, a feller about 25 miles from my house had a commotion at his house one night. He grabbed his M60 loaded with CCI Mini Mags and flipped the back porch light on. A black bear was chasing his dog around the back yard. He stepped out on the porch and shot a couple shots in the air, but that didn't impress the bear. However, the next five shots through the ribs did impress the bear and it ran off. The next day the Sheriff's Department and local Conservation Agent found the old boar dead as a door knob about 250 yards from the house. That old boar weighed near 400 pounds. Not bad performance from a $150 .22LR!
