Did some hauling for a farm lady who lives in East Marshall County. She told me, her neighbor seen a cougar in the early am. Push out some deer from a large Timber[1000 acre's] a wk ago.
There have been numerous sightings of a cougar in the last 3yrs in this County. Some yrs back, a guy had two penned cougar's on his property in [Quarry Iowa]. He also had two dusky Black wolves in another pen.
This guy moved away. I suspsect he turned them loose?, who knows for sure. Late last Winter. I seen a dusky Black wolf cross a gravel on a deer trail, just South of Marshalltown a couple miles.
