Mathews Z7

Have'nt tried the Z7, but if it's anything like the Reezen 6.5 you'll like it! Just finished setting mine up with a ripcord drop away, and Black Gold sights at 68 pounds..fast and spot on!

I shot the Z7 a couple weeks ago and liked it a whole lot better than the Rezeen. The Z7 is alot smoother shooting bow and doesn't seem to jump in your hand like the Reezen. Definately a nice bow but I will stay with my Hoyt for now!

Long time ago, 20 yrs or more I was told the Winn's release was best. I went to store and drew back a 65lb bow with 4-6 different releases, the Winn's was the easiest to draw the bow back with, some releases made it seem like an 80lb bow.
On tv I see a lot of odd designed releases, they look like they are having trouble drawing them back sometimes.

Well i shoot a X-Force DS (with HF cam)which is a speed bow and my XF seems easier to draw than the Z7. My Bow before the XF-DS was a Reezen, so i do also shoot mathews. The Reezen was the worst bow i ever had, sold it after 6 weeks, but i do think Mathews makes a great bow overall. That said if i had to replace my X-Force i would look more towards the Hoyt Maxxis this year after handling and drawing them both back.

I just shot(1hour ago) the z7, drenalin and rezeen and I liked the rezeen the best not only did it feel better than the other two I think it looked better too.

I am thinking I might upgrade to the rezeen, right now I'm shooting a bear lights out..

honestly they all felt smooth to my hand the rezeen had a little hand shock and the top of the bow seemed to want to jump forward a little but when drawn back it felt better, when I hit the wall it locked in and felt nice the z7 on the other hand just kinda walked though and never really felt like I got to the wall. the z7 has this odd bat wing shape and to me just didn't feel right in hand.

The rezeen is a little bit cheaper shoots faster feels better (to me) and looks better (again to me)so that's what I'm saving my pennies for right now..
