Matrix Ballistics bullets

Anyone try these yet? I was in the local reloading store and they had these on the shelf. Talked with a guy Saturday that said he shot them in his 6.5 CM and they shot really well. I bought a box of 146 grain VLD's to try in my CM. The bullets come out of Canada and are about the same price as Bergers, just a couple of bucks higher but not to bad if they shoot. I just need to work a load up and see if I get the same results.

Friend of mine did some informal testing with the owner at 1000yrds, my buddy shot a 284win with a Berger 180gr Hybrid at 2820ishfps...the other guy shot a 6.5x284 with his 146gr bullet at roughly the same velocity. The wind drift numbers were comparable with a slight edge going to the 6.5, the 146gr held good vertical as well.

Fast forward a few months later...Owner introduces himself at the NRA Fclass Nationals. Super nice guy very educated it seemed to me...he was very disappointed in his bullet as he had a couple blow up on the way to the target. He told me that Sierra made his jackets and he was gonna go back and make some changes.

That said I wouldn't be afraid to hunt with his bullets. Fclass seems to be hard on some bullets and not others with the heat and long strings of fire.
