mauser finally got here!!

well its been 6 and a half months. barreled action got here monday. it started out as a large ring k98 8mm mauser that was in rough shape. now its a 308 win.

24" SS 3.5 contour fluted from ershaw

had the cut the military bolt off and install one of theirs

put it in a Boyds thumbhole varmint, had to do alot of wood work, cut the bolt handle slot, got a timney with a remington safety so had to inlet it for the safety slot on top.

im waiting on the right bases to get here to day then ill get my scope mounted and ill do the break in on it tomorrow.

im stoked to finally get it, im not the most patient person around so this wait almost killed me lol

Looks good. I like the bolt handle. Whats someting like that run? Looking at rebarreling a ruger into 35 whelen. Thanks

the barreled action with all the work cost me 655 shipped
im gonna go break it in tomorrow and get some groups

well took the rifle out today, the break in sheet called for 20 shots but it only took 15 shoot and cleans. im gonna work a few loads for it tomorrow and try out the 190s in it.
