I saw radio collered wolves in Central California...basically farm country...many years ago while out calling. No one believed me. A few years later one was hit by a car on the I5 freeway in the Central Valley and the cat was out of the bag...fish and wildlife ( formerly fish and game) knew it and was hiding it.
Now there are several packs in California and are wreaking havoc. Now they want grizzlies reintroduced. These morons never learn.
I dont live in Cali anymore but I have seen a lot of crazy things while out calling coyotes there thats for sure.
