McMillan Game Scout

Guys,

I am looking to pick up a 700 LVSF here soon and I know that the first thing I want to do is replace the stock. Does anyone have a Game Scout that could chime in on how they like it?

This will be a hunting/calling setup and this is the "type" of stock I am looking for. I really like the vertical grip handle but even more so because it is in a hunter/sporter weight rather than in a sniper fill.

Id be open to other suggestions as well.

Also, does anyone know where McMillan stocks are available for less than from their site?

The game scout it new,so might not be alot of guys that have one yet.

tt35 on here sells McMillan, he's got my last 2 orders. you will have to contact him for pricing.

Thanks for the info so far guys. Im really into the game scout due to its sporter fill while still having the vertical grip.

Berger-king,
The greybull won't work for me because the LVSF is an ADL not a BDL. I can find a deal on the Game Scout I have a feeling that is what Ill go with. If not Ill have to look for a used one.

Makes no diff, change all of the the bottom metal to BDL, it you want.
