Mcmillan Game Scout

Anyone have any experience with the Mcmillan, Game Scout stock? I'm looking at one for a Savage build, I am currently working on. Thanks.

What do you use your rifle for, benchrest, varmint, predator, or big game?

I will use the 243 for varmints,predator and deer, the 22-250 will be for coyotes one is green camo the 22-250 is desert camo. I like the straight grip it's like my ARs very comfortable on my wrist and easier to control with one hand. I have a HTG,Sako hunters and I really like the Sako Hunter. I shot the stock with my 6mm Rem in it before I sent it to the smith. It closed the groups up from the bench. Trigger control was lots better for me at least .

Great looking rifle Masterblaster. Thanks for the reply. Whats the barrel contour\length on the rifle in pic? Is it free floated?

The barreled action is a factory Remington sporter and it is full floated the 6mm has a 24" barrel.

I have three game scout stocks
I like everything about them but the comb height
I am In the process of changing two of them out
When I ordered mine, the adjustable cheek piece was not available
If I were to do it over, I would have ordered them with ACP

It's my favorite McM for medium to heavy barrels. I've replaced a few rifles that had A5's on them with the Game Scouts.

Is it safe to say the Gane Scout is the close equivalent to a Manners TA? They seem to have similar features/shape/profile.

I agree with the come height it could be higher, everything else is great. I just ordered one today.

the 2 I have i added defensive edge cheek pieces, they work great.
