I bought the X24 MFK last fall as an upgrade to my Fusion. When I buy another caller it will be a X24 MFK edition.
Categories and an organized file system for starters. Keeping them straight isn't as tricky as you might think. You tend to remember the ones that produce consistently as well. How can you even remember what all of those are?![]()

Yeah, the FoxPro sound tool isn’t the most intuitive thing out there. Once you fight with it a few times it isn’t unusable, but it leaves a bit to be desired. I’ve heard rumor of their latest version on the new callers is a big step in the right direction. I’m just not ready to drop good money on the latest and greatest when what I have works just fine.Ahh categories… dont get me started on that. Foxpro doesnt tell you in their video that you can just edit the text file and make all the categories you want, and simply list the sound # instead of spending hours moving sounds around one at a time with the app. They got me the first time, spent 2 hours in the foxpro tool moving sounds. Second time i made a spreadsheet of my sound list and now i can make/move categories in a few seconds.
If you put 50 favorite sounds in your favorites on the Foxpro remote you shouldn't have to go looking for sounds that are not in your favorites sounds very often.
On my Foxpro remotes I have my 18 most used sounds on sounds 1 through 9 and sounds 42 through 50. I can get to these 18 sounds very quickly. Sounds 1 through 4 are my emergency pre-set sounds that I want to go to instantly.
MFK, Pound Town and Table Scraps sounds have worked great for me.

Sorry BBK… not sure which caller you have. The upgraded utility may be just the top tier callers that run the new TX2000 remote. I think they’re the X48 and X360. Then again, maybe I’m completely wrong altogether? Like I said… I heard rumor! LolWell i grabbed the caller and ran the program installer, it updated my foxpro utility but the same “shortcomings” are still there. Can only move or remove one sound at a time when working with categories

Its a shame, it would be so easy to program and update… i dont know why they have not fixed it. It sucks trying to reorganize 250+ sounds one by oneSorry BBK… not sure which caller you have. I'm not sure why there is a need to reorganize your 250+ sound list for different categories. Just make new category and add the sounds you want to that category using the sound tool.
