Michigan Predator Hunting competition

I'll be there; this will be my third year in a row.

I noticed they added a second hunt....and eliminated the stalking and baiting. The second hunt appears to be a free-for-all.

Maybe I'll see you there if ya go.

Hi all: Once again we will hit the woods for a 72 hour huntathon, This time with moonlight!! Should be a blast.. Any new hunters looking for the address: go to Nettiebay.com Jan 16 thru 18 2003. Many of us from Northern Mich will be there. Have fun and see ya in 5 weeks.

My son and I have been going since the first comp. We really enjoy it. It is a good group of people. There was some question as to the method the winner used to win last year which may have led to the open class in February. It is really a nice banquet on Saturday. I take vacation to attend. I think it was 4 coyotes that took first and a coyote and a bobcat for second. There is a lot of knowledgeable people there. I am sure you will enjoy it. Most of us don't take it serious, out for the good time.

If anyone needs a place to stay, my sister-in-law
owns the R&R Pine lodge in Millersburg. It's a real nice quality place where you can take your family. It has one double room and two single rooms and is 10 minutes from Netty Bay Lodge. It has a full kitchen also. They have 360 acres of private farm land with nearby cedar swamps adjoining to hunt on. There phone number is 989-733-5963. Ask for Rita.
