Mid Terms and the political choices

Look at it this way, plain and simple. In this mid-term, you're not necessarily voting for a candidate, but voting against the communist takeover of our nation. Never forget those who fought and died for the freedoms we now enjoy!

Exactly the reason I won’t throw my vote to the “right” party like you would throw a dog a bone. It means and has cost too much. These pigs need to be taught a lesson. I’m well past the national elections being the end of the world. The fix starts at your local level. Unfortunately, it’s going to be painful. The system has been defiled to near un recoverable. Hopefully in at least my children’s lifetime it gets back to what it was supposed to be. Sorry boys, I’m out. Let it burn

By the logic I’m seeing here of throw your vote to the lesser of two evils we have to choose from wouldn’t the right move be everyone register democrat and make sure the least extreme candidates make it in the ballot? I mean, what’s the difference?

Not sure your point, but Lincoln and the congress were Republican.

That might have worked voting in the Democratic primaries (which I have done in the past for that exact reason), but, its too late for that now. Your only viable choice in the upcoming mid-terms is (so called) Democrat (which have allowed the communists to infiltrate) party or the Republican. Any third party candidate will, as always, only dilute the outcome.
Dunno if you've paid any attention to what the dems a) want to do and b) who's been taking over that party & what THEY want to do

"Democracy" is the door that communism comes through to get a stranglehold on our republican form of government. This has been going on for decades slowly and incrementally. The long march through the institutions.
A vote for democrats isn't going to solve anything, but continue to exacerbate the problem. I get that many Rs in Congress are members of the uniparty within the party, they're swamp rats, but the R party is still the better platform to stop democracy. Democracy is a cancer and usurpation of our Republican form of government guranteed in Article 4 Section 4 of the Constitution.
Also, gun rights are definitely safer under R control.
I get why people are pissed about what Trump has been doing and they should be, but you shouldn't take all your frustrations out on all Republicans at the ballot box. I know a lot of Conservative voters who aren't happy about what the uni-party is doing, but they aren't voting democrat.

Another aspect is that I think a lot of people overlook is electing limited gvernment Conservatives to the state and local governments. You need to people locally who have the authority to stop the federal when federal tries to overreach. We need people dedicated to that locally.

In close races dems will run a libertarian or other to take votes away from the R or Conservative which leads to a dem victory.

HM - my point - if we go boots-on-the-ground there will be another draft. As after Lincoln, wars (and draft) were from D party. So I got 4 Gboys of draft age. Did my time between Bay of Pigs and Nam, sure my folks were worried. World is just as nasty now, Khrushchev was not stupid, wouldn't let Castro keep the nukes aimed at US. IRGC is about as nutty as Castro.
