I was looking at some of MS bulk bullets. Anyone ever play with them? if so do they shoot good? I was looking at some 75 gr 224 cal black tip bullets, 250 for $52. Be good practice pills.

I have been shooting the varmint nightmare .224 55gr HP for a while. They look just like a Sierra. Very accurate, 1/2 moa out to 500yds. I tried the Soft points those sucked really bad, could not get them to shoot better than 1-1/2'' at 100yds. Have not tried anything else from them.

When I lived in TN, I shot a lot of the MS bullets. Steve, the sales person at the counter told me they were made by one of the major bullet manufactures, but I don't recall which one at the moment. Give them a call and they will tell you who makes them. Ask for Steve.

I shoot a lot of the Midsouth Varmint Nightmare 55 grain bullets with the cannelure. Those bullets are from Hornady. Some of the other options are from other manufacturers.

I shoot a lot of them in 75 gr, very good, and the price is right. I just ordered some ELD M Blems 80 gr 224. $70 for 250.
