MidWay USA Customer Service Report

After reading posts about the hand priming tools, I decided to buy one myself. Bought the Lee model and a second set of 223 dies as well as 2 shell holders for the Lee Auto prime.... oops. Got one shellholder for the autoprime and the other shellholder was an R-2 for reloading, not the #2 I needed for the Autoprime tool.

Anyway, called MidWay and spoke to them. No muss, no fuss, They stuck the #2 in the mail to me. I asked for a RMA so I could return the other shellholder and he said it wasn't worth the hassle and for me to keep it.

Needless to say, I was quite surprised at the whole experience, and very happy. That's the stuff that keeps ya coming back for sure...thanks MidWay..I appreciate it. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Great prices and great service.....I've ordered more from them lately than I have from Cabela's in some time now and I expect that trend to continue.

They get a Big A+ from me too. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif The gunsmithing section has grown and rivals Brownells now.

I also like hoe you can read peoples rating of the products on thier websight.

I have also had great experinces w/ cabelas also and cabelas seems to be cheaper for the most part.

Another repeat Midway customer here. I had a caliper set sent to me that was in a cracked plastic box...Called them up asking for an RMA so I could get a replacement and they sent me one in the mail not needing the old one...Not only that but they paid for the shipping...This kind of service caused me to order more stuff that was sent out with the new calipers. With that kind of service, they have a customer for life. Too bad all people in the retail industry don't see things this way!

I am buying more and more now from Midway, no problem with them at all. Midway doesn't take advantage of you on shipping costs like Cabelas does.

they may not always have the lowest price but get a total on to your door. i was looking to buy a riflescope and midway was about 10 dollars higher but total cost with shipping midway was the cheapest by about 8 dollars. cant wait to mount that scope on my custom 243.

I have ordered a bunch of stuff from midway and they are the best out there in my book, always happy to help, and will fix any problems you have right away. Their company has a customer service style that is a thing of the past to most businesses out there...they will make things right. They get my vote for sure! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

I placed and order a couple weeks back. After a couple days of no e-mail saying my order was sent, I called and talked to them. They had everything boxed and ready to go but something was on back order at the time. They apologize and said they would 2nd day air it to me for no extra cost. I've always like dealing with Midway.

I've always had good luck with midway, I order nearly all my reloading supplies from them and sometimes they have some great deals on scopes, they are in Missouri so I have to pay sales tax but it is worth it because I always receive my order the next day and that's using ups ground.

I have had good service from them as well. My only complaint is that I got a sales flyer and tried to order some ammo, but it was all backordered for a month!! I have had several other items back ordered too. I guess they must really move that much stuff. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

The only thing i can say leaning towards negative is i ordered a harris bipod and the site said it was available.Order came no bipod.
I don't use credit cards so they don't back order things and just send your money back.
It takes time to get a money order and the order put together then get 1/2 of the order and 1/2 your money back.ME

Think they're bad about back-orders? I have been more frustrated with riflescopes.com (SWFA) with the fact that you can't even see if they have an item in inventory. I ordered a Leupold MKIV M1 last August that was to include the Alumina scope covers for free...I've yet to see the scope covers and have gotten the run-around since from both SWFA and Leupold. Apparently, Leupold only makes a limited run of these at a time and haven't made any in some time. I'll check on inventory next time I order that has something "free" included. I ordered several scopes from SWFA but won't again due to the bad taste left in my mouth with this. I realize it isn't their fault but don't advertise if you can't come through.

About eight years ago I used to do alot of shopping with Midway. In a order that I placed was a set of Lyman 7-30 Waters reloading dies. When I tried to use the dies I found that they had a burr in them that would destroy any shell put into the die. When I contacted Midway they informed me that I would have to bear the cost of shipping it back. They would then determine if the die was faulty and, if it was would send me a new one. It was to much trouble and cost when I had done nothing wrong so, I sanded the burr out of the die. I do business with Midsouth or Natchez now.

A week or so ago I ordered a RCBS hand primer from midway, well last I got it out to set it up and see how it works. When I went to put the small primer feed together I noticed that there were to halves that were the same side.

5 minutes ago I called thier service department and told them my problem. They told me that they were just gonna send me a whole new unit, and for me to just keep the other for parts. And they are sending it priority mail so it gets here by the weekend. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-003.gif

Sorry to bend your ear so much,it's just great when companies treat there customers like they should /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/ooo.gif
