i was looking at a couple of these scopes. the look pretty good but i would like to hear info from people who have used them. thanks lee

The TRS 1 is very good with great glass. Mine has 110MOA of elevation in it. 1/8moa clicks are a pain but are repeatable. Very heavy built like a tank. Good warranty from a good company..

I have a MultiDot SP 30mm 3, 5, 8, 10 min Dot Matte on my Ruger 41 mag that has withstood 500+ rounds of fullhouse loads. I don't have any experience with their scopes but if they are as well made as the reddot, they will be good.

I have the same one pictured above, its a tough scope and has performed well.

As far of the glass ....you get what you pay for. It good to above average. Good for hunting

I picked up a TRS-1 about a month ago. I mounted it on an AR upper and have'nt taken it to the range yet. Quality looks good, I'll know more after I crank on the knobs awhile and check optical quality next to other scopes.

I pondered one of those Falcons with the MP-20 reticle wich I believe would probably have been a touch better for Ohio groundhogs. I still may end up with the Falcon in late spring. If I don't spring for a Mcree stock for my 22-250.

Lennyzxr, The one I put I put in the pick sat in my lap for 2 nights of watching TV while I cranked the knobs for hours. I ran it through the box at the range twice after and once before still tracked true. I think you will be happy. My only problem is the weight of it for my callin rifle is a bit much.. But I like the Illum. I originally bought it for my .308 but it is a pain to dial elevation, with no rotation indicators its hard to remember how much you dialed in on the previous shots. A guy from the HIde makes zero stops for it to help with that problem.

I'm glad to hear tracking is good on the TRS. This is my biggest concern, although I will holdover/off at times. I have it in an Armalite 1 piece mount. I may go to the range in a little while. I want to check dot centers at 16x on the TRS and another scope. Also have 2 more new DPMS uppers to dial in.

The other scope is a big 30mm cheapo mil dot 6x25x56 SF.$99.00 scope a friend swears by on his 204, optical quality looks very good. I'll check it and the Millet against a 6x24 Weaver and 4x16 Monarch at dusk this evening.

I will say that Falcon has my attention as I believe that MP-20 reticle with the half mil marks to be the cats meow for longer range holdover. I've been keeping an eye on Falcon reviews at the SH and SC Forums, all seem pretty positive.

The new Millett LRS-1 looks to be very promising. I intend to order one next week, if I can even find one. check it out at www.millettsights.com Granted the scope is intended for super long range, 6-25x56mm with a 35mm main tube gives 140 MOA adjustment. and it comes with some beefy looking rings, sunshade and flip style scope caps. price is 450 500 bucks. lots of bang for the buck

back from the range, lucky I did'nt get stuck in the snow there. The TRS performed very well, I used the Hoppes 14X14 1" grid targets. The TRS tracked true with elevation and windage corrections of up to 10 inches. It maintained zero at different power ranges. Though I'd only ran about 50 rounds through this set up. I used my cheap handloads 50gr. TNT's mixed brass 24gr. RL10 dropped from a BR-30,Rem. 7 1/2 primers. 2.26 OAL, no crimp. The new DPMS 16" stainless barreled upper liked the load and should do better with 52's in matched brass.

To my old eyes the glass of the TRS is about equal to a Buckmaster 6x18 SF model I had with me on a Stevens 223. I posted some color adds from todays news paper next to the targets at 100 yds. for viewing. The V 6x24 Weaver is a touch above both for my eyes. I'm satisfied with the TRS so far. I may compare low light latter this evening.

The $99.00 el-cheapo 6x25x56 did very well also. It's mounted to a new cheaper DPMS low pro upper, the $379.00 model. I believe I'll order another one of these and mount it on my HB 10-22 where I can do more evaluation work.

Time to clean some barrels now.
