Has anyone tried one of there Long Range scopes? I know they make high quality mounts and rings but have not heard much about there scopes. They seem to have a lot of options only found on scopes that cost 2 or 3 times as much. Thinking of using one on upcoming build but would like some feedback from someone who has used one.

I have the LRS scope on my Savage LRPV 204. Descent glass for the money but it is a heavy scope.Seems to track well but I don't spin turrets that often. I have no problems taking groundhogs well past 400 yards or prairie dogs out to 500 yards.

If you have the budget,I would look for a used Leupold.

I have one on a Savage Model 10 heavy 308win and a friend has one on a 50BMG for the last tree years and 300 rounds.
They do the job and the turrets lock. I think they are the best over all scope for $300 with a 30mm tube.

I agree with willie and 1up, not bad for the money. The LRS I had was a bit fuzzy with the power maxed out and the locking turrets didn't seem to stay locked but that didn't cause a problem. All in all,OK!

I have one on my Rem 700 22-250 as mentioned it is heavy, but I like mine alot. I only shoot out to around 200yrds though. Mine has cross hairs reticle and wish it had mil-dot. I think you can get mil-dot in that scope or maybe that's all it comes with now?

I have 2, a 4-16 x 50 and the LRS 6-25 x 56 . The LRS has a 35mm tube and a lot of elevation(150 or something ??), both track great and have very crisp clicks, illuminated, pretty good glass for the money. The 35mm tube came with a set of their six screw rings. As somebody said they seem a little heavy. The 6-25x is on a DPMS SASS and the scope is great at 600 yards, dials back to zero. I would buy another if I was getting a scope in that range. Natchez seems to have them pretty cheap and the camo 4-16x much cheaper than the black.
