Mirror to look at your backside?

Well, maybe I should've said; mirror to watch your down wind side? Does anyone use one? I don't like the movement I make while trying to watch down wind. Some bow hunters use them on stand to see behind them without having to turn around. Please, no wise-cracks, this is a serious question. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif:)

I use those trick glasses with mirrors on the side, that reveal what's behind you.
The problem is...I keep seeing yotes come in from behind me...I pull up to shoot and forget they were behind me. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif

/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif sorry

I don't know what good it would do anyway. They are behind ya, and there's nothing you can do. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

It's true River that I probably would not get the shot.I think it would be nice to know if something was coming in the blind side without scaring something off on the up-wind side with movement.

Crapshoot has a mirror on his shoe. I don't know why, but he almost tripped a lady in the convenience store. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

You told me you wouldnt tell! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif

Well if your calling with the sun at your back, it will make a nice emergency beacon for rescue planes.

The best way to see coyotes coming in behind you is to keep the downwind somewhere in front of you.

Somebody makes that very mirror, for deer hunting mainly, just can't remember the name of the company. Think I saw it on The Outdoor Channel. Someone here's bound to know more about it. kyray

Maybe thats the real name from my subconsious or just my humor comming out but I would call it a "deerview" mirror. For coyote hunting, I wouldn't bother. Keep your downwind side included in your shooting area and play the wind.

I've seen it advertized. I believe it was called a "Deerview Mirror". Always looked like a gimic to me.
