Hi Guys,

Going to Missoula for two weeks in March (2-16). Looking for hunting/fishing/guns things to do. Or other obscure neat things (local bookstores, museums, etc.).

Will be going to RMEF Hq, taste test a brewpub or two (Dad in law lives in Ronan).

Any and all suggestions welcome. Tanks

About half way between Missoula and Ronan is the National Bison Range at Moiese. Take the drive in there and make sure you have your camera.

Or, you could wear your hunting gear and walk around the college in Missoula while using a bunny distress call. That is sure to bring some excitement /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif There is not much in Missoula itself, there is a nice Sportsmans Warehouse. I would make the Bison Range a priority.

Oh yeah, Axmans has a nice collection of old guns to take a gander at. Or, wander around the Ninepipes Refuge and see what kinds of small critters and birds are there. Occasionally, a griz will wander in there.

The last time I was up there, there was a testical festival going on a little south of there. Which I could of made that one, but it was the week after we left. The bill boards said, " Come to the testical festival and have a ball!". LOL! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Nothing like a plate of hot bull fries!! I try to make it to the Bronze boot at least once a yr for some..

These are the neat things to visit..

I wont get too bored, 96 yr old step Grampa in Helena and my father in law owns a bar in Ronan. But I can drink beer here. Just wish I could get out and shoot or fish....

Thanks Guys..
