It's hard to say for your area, but usually when I start seeing good scrape's being used a pretty good bit is when ill make afew. This is a prime time because bucks are checking alot and they know does are using them also so another buck in the area will peak their intrest a good bit. When you make one scent control can make or break your scrape. I always wear rubber boots and try not to touch anything with your bare hands even the bottle the deer pee is in. It's really best to find a rub/scrape line and hunt that, but it never hurts to make afew. Go ahead and make afew around the area because most the time only about 1 out of 5 or 6 will become active if any.
