I've bought several uppers from both Model1 and M&A Parts. My experience has been positive with both of them.

More research never hurts.

I have built dozens of rifles over the years for friends using Model 1 parts kits. I have never been disappointed with the quality of there parts. They are also great to deal with over the phone. Good company, good people.

Built several, my varmint rig from them
has shoot one of my best groups to date, .45" @ 200yds with my hand loads.

I have a Model 1 sales 300-221 upper that I bought several years. It seems like it could be a little more accurate, but I have never had any problems with function.

(Other than tuning powder to cycle both subsonic and supersonic)
