Model 10 Predator Hunter Max 1

First off new to site, great site also, im getting the 243 in the model 10, will use mainly on yotes, cats, but might take on a youth deer hunt, i ve read bunches of threads on the best bullet weight and brand for this rifle, if you have this gun, what has been your best weight and brand?

Welcome to the board! Don't have that rifle but I am eyeing one in .223 so I am interested to hear how yours shoots. I would look at the Barnes 85gr TSX or the new Nosler 90gr Accubond for deer.

Welcome. The 243 is so versitale you can use a 100 gr or a 75 on deer and predators. Good choice. Keep us posted.

I have a Model 10 predator max 1 in .243 . It is the most accurate rifle i have fired yet. I have shot some amazing groups at 100 yards with this rifle and my handload of 38.0gr of varget powder and nosler 70gr bt varmit bullet. I put a Nikon Monarch 4x16x with BDC recticle scope on this rifle. You cant go wrong with this rifle.

My buddy looked for a Max 1 for several month until we found 1 left online. He quickly bought it and has been very satisfied with it so far.
