There are folks on here that swear by them and folks on here that swear at them. I own one and use it depending on the situation. I know, that answer sucks. If I'm hunting in an area that I believe holds bobcats I always have it on. If I'm making a stand where I can't get a good hide and feel a little exposed then I'll use it to  hopefully draw their attention away from me. Other than that it's just when the mood hits me.  Good Luck!!!
