Has worked well on both cats and coyotes as well as a number of larger critters.

Sable bull:

Nilgai Cow:

Whole herd of Wildebeast (Mojo circled)

Gemsbok:

Waterbuck(Mojo was just off screen):

Even fooled this pair of coyotes  :

As for battery life, I purchased mine used from a PM member and it came without instruction booklet but w/batteries installed.  Used it for quite a while and finally batteries failed so put in a couple of rechargeable batteries.  They pooped out same day installed.  Limped through the rest of the hunt w/more rechargeables with same results so figured it needed NiCads or lithium.  Purchased some lithiums and they didn't last very long either.  Finally looked at a mojo add online and noticed the small print said AA batteries (4) not included.

Once I replaced the other two batteries (that were hidden from my old eyeballs) battery life improved immensely.

Regards,

hm
