Mojo Crow didn't come with a battery - Do I have to buy a SLA

I just bought a Mojo Crow from MidwayUSA. The description failed to mention that batteries were not included, or that it ran off of a non-standard battery (UB645 Sealed Lead Acid Battery). So now I have to spend another $35-$40 on a battery and charger to be able to use it. Can I use a regular Duracell 6V battery with the coil terminals and wire it directly to it, or does it have to be one of the SLA types?

i use the regular 6v in mine no problems. If your decoyin crows check out the flocked ones from EDGE by expedite amazing how real they look especially sittin out in a field next to the old plastic ones.

UB645 SLA Batteries are very common. You can pick them up at any battery store or some sporting good stores since they are used a lot in game feeders.

The 6V lattern battery type would also work just fine. Its just not rechargable.

Wal-mart has/had a 6 volt rechargeable spring terminal lantern battery. I think it was about $6. The charger was about $12. Don't hold me to those prices. I wasn't paying that much attention. I was cruising the sporting goods while waiting on my wife.
