Mojo Crow

We used one once... If that gives any indication /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grinning-smiley-006.gif

It worked OK. It drove the Hawks crazy (which makes better decoys) but the majority of the crows acted no different. No obvious affect. Ever once in a will a crow would come real aggressive. But you get that from time to time anyway (even with no decoy).

We use a run & gun procedure with crows. We'll hit 15-30 places a day, hardly ever staying more than 20 minutes at a set up. Usually in thicker cover such as pines. Best shooting comes when your in 15-20' pines. Makes for tough shooting and you can't see crows until they are on you. But they can't see you either, until it's to late /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif...

We don't use any decoys at all. We've tried all that & it's just not worth the effort (with our style). I'd rather spend 10 minutes at another site than 10 minutes setting up a decoy set.

If you don't have many places to go & need to kill ALL you can at one set up... It may be worth the trouble. I've heard of guys using them with a fox decoy (stuffed red) and they say that works real well. I would like to try that and see /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif.

Wondering if anyone else has had better luck with the MJ? Maybe we didn't give them enough time to react? But then again, we'd rather shoot than watch /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
