Mojo Dove for a predator decoy

Some of the spots I have to hunt are big open fields so I was thinking about buying a decoy to get them something to see.

I wonder how well a mojo dove would work if I took the wings off and instead attached one or two squirrel tails.

If you want that look, why not just get the mojo critter? There would be no reason to change the wings, as all you are looking for is some movement to grab there attention.

With that said. I have more coyotes hang up to a decoy than I have commit to it.

Anything with a little movement will work. Keep in mind that the purpose of the decoy is to keep theirs eyes busy to give you time to move if needed.

Do a search for "weasel ball decoy" on the interweb, cost me about 6 bucks and works. I think a mojo dove would spin a tail too fast to look natural. Check it out.
