More teeth than brains?(video added)

We don't have any badgers here in the east but we do have a ton of ground hogs/woodchucks or whatever you want to call them. The cattle & horse farmers love for you to come shoot everyone you can find. They did holes in the fields and the cattle/horses step in the holes, break a leg, and have to be put down. They also tear up farming equipment if you hit a hole or the dirt mound outside the hole.

Nice vid Duane. REALLY, REALLY wish we had more of them in my area. Would LOVE to ACTUALLY get one. Tried many times, but by the time I get the dog down the hole, nuthin but backfill baby....

Spray some Granulex V in the wound for 2-3 days. It will eat away all the dead stuff and let the nice pink stuff grow back tougher than original. Can buy on internet or most feed/vet stores. Use it on the terriers all the time, and super glue works better than most staples or stitches, just make sure to leave a tiny drain hole. I use the Pen G too, but if you have been using it for a couple years regularly (on just the worst of wounds of course), I recommend switching it up for a year or two to another broad spectrum (gram-/gram+) antibiotic. That way the dogs don't build up a resistance to the stuff. Most overuse antibiotics, but yer a rancher and doctor stuff more often than most, so I'm sure you know how and when to use the stuff, but I figured a newbie or two might learn from reading this.

Rolly, Thats real good info for the guys that need it. Very thoughtful of you to post.
I have been doctorin all kinds of animals for years, and I do swith up my antibiotics. Maybe more often than some guys, like you said "don't over do any one."
Spotight is healin real well,(till his next wreck)HaHa.
Hopin to get some video of Vargy's little killers on one.
We'll just have to see what happens?????????

For doctorin your dogs where do you get the supplys and how do you know how much to give them. Not that I want to become a vet but around here you could be in the middle of nowhere when things go south.
