MI VHNTR,
I don't feel that the $8 difference in those rings make them superior to the Leupold Rifleman series. The materials and durability built into the Warne ring do.
Money is not the object of this discussion in my view.
Just because one item costs more than a similar item does not make it superior. Materials and workmanship makes it superior.
I never claimed to be an "expert". Was trying to keep a guy from spending his money on equipment inferior to other similarly priced equipment and then have to replace the junk later.
If the Leupold Rifleman see-thru rings cost 50 bucks they are still inferior to most rings.
Tactical bullsh** means nothing to me. Products that work for me day in and day out do.
I don't even know what a "mall ninja" is.
My Ar is a pieced together piece of junk I'm sure.
Olympic Arms SUM 20in complete upper, Superior Arms stripped lower, Chip McCormick Single Stage Match Trigger with KNS AntiRotational pins, and a RR lower parts kit, of course I put it together to save money and get exactly what I wanted and then topped it with a Burris 4.5X14x42 FFII with BPlex.
Is that standard "mall ninja" equipment"?
Let me know so I can find a mall, because I think the nearest one is about 70 miles away. I hope they will let me in. I haven't been in a mall that I can think of in about 3 years and that was shopping for Christmas with my wife.
Don't resort to sh**slinging and name calling because you don't like what I said about a product that you happen to like.
Free speech is just that.
Get over it.
