Mueller scope repair...

Bought a Mueller scope in 2003, Sport Dot, 3-9X40, used it on my 22-250 for coyotes. Noticed that at the bell end it was looking like there was some moisture and grainy areas around the outside of the glass. Tried cleaning, thought it was on the outside, no dice. Called Mueller, spoke to Rich, stated it was probably a nitrogen leak, advised me to send it in. Got a package from them yesterday, they didn't even bother to fix it........they just sent me a new one! Hats off to Mueller, and the only thing it cost me was to ship it out........

They do a good job. For an inexpensive scope they are hard to beat. For night hunting predators that 1 MOA dot is the berries. I have 2 in 2-7 one in 3-9 and one of their APV scopes on my hornet.
Glad to hear they took good care of you.

Sure sounds like they did you good John. I like to hear stories like that. After Blount sold Weaver, Redfield and Simmons to Meade optics their great warrentee went down the tube. Took me near six months and I don't know how many letters and phone calls to get a new Weaver that was broken when I got it fixed.

ATK has purchased back Weaver from Meade and I understand that Leupold has purchased the Redfield name. I've several Weavers and am glad there back in ATK's name as they've always been really good on repairing stuff. They own CCI, RCBS and Speer along with Alliant powder I believe.

Hey Bob,

I really think that customer service will be the only thing that keeps U.S. firms in business. I had checked out the scopes made by a British company, Hawke, which has advertised in several predator mags and as of now their products are being sold here, they seem around the same price as the Muellers, but my buddy thinks they are made in China....I think Muellers are still made here.........
