Not to split hairs bere, but isn't that a "battle rifle," not an assault rifle?
I had a few garands over the years, sad I don't have one currently. Always holds a spot near and dear to my heart. Think my next battle rifle will be an M-1A rather than a Garand unfortunately.

I love the way we toss around the term "assault rifle"! My rifles have never assaulted anyone. We try our best to play into the left wing libtards hands and help them every step of the way by using the very termanology that they use against us.

I am. There's room down here in PA for ya, but ya gotta act like us!!! Maybe not a good thing all together?!?!?! LOL!!! We have our bouts with Socialism too - Philly & Pittsburgh are near to running the state w/ all their liberals, unions and po' people. About 8 million there vs 4 million of the rest of us out here in the "sticks". We're on a Republican gov' run right now - almost always 2 consecutive terms for each party here in the gov's mansion. After 8 years of that mobster Rendell raping us of the surplus we did have, we need a break of some sort. If he had a Newtown then, he'd've tried it.
