My CMC single stage trigger has travel...again

I posted on this a season or two ago. I sent the trigger back to CMC and they sent another with a little less travel. I haven’t shot the loper up until the other day and it’s now worse than the first CMC single stage 2.5 pound competition trigger. I called CMC and they said customer service would get back with me next week. I see I’m not the only one with at has experienced the same issue. If you click on the link below it’s a YouTube video with someone else experiencing the same issue I’m having,,,,

YouTube video of CMC single stage trigger with travel

My trigger housing is rock solid and the trigger is not rubbing on my lower. Anyone have an idea how to remove the travel?

I watched a few YouTube videos saying that if I want to remove the “loose trigger rattle” to put a piece of foam or something similar underneath the trigger housing before installing it. I inspected my trigger and didn’t see any movement on the housing when I pulled the trigger. They only thing I can see is a lot of travel from the extremely long sear. I believe it’s just a very poor design. I removed the trigger and used one side of stick on Velcro. I cut 2 little pieces and placed them on the bottom of my trigger housing. It was a pain to squish down the housing to get the trigger pins in. I blue loctited the trigger pins and torqued to 10 inch pounds. I tried the trigger and it still had travel but didn’t seem as much. That’s when I noticed the extremely long sear. I noticed there was grey colored grease on and above the sear. I added more grease on the the sear itself a few times and some EWL synthetic lube on the springs. I kept working the trigger mechanism back and forth along with dry firing it. I stuck a towel in front of the trigger so it wouldn’t get banged up from all the dry firing. After lubing the trigger and working it back and forth it now brakes crisp at a consistent 40 oz. Hopefully it is a permanent fix.
