I know there has been a thread or two in the past on this rifle but not much lately so I’ll start another. I have been looking for another 243 bolt gun lately and as you know that’s a tough order to fill, my requirements were threaded, a good trigger, a decent stock that didn’t feel like a piece of Tupperware, and something that would shoot decent, pretty much the only thing I could find available was the tc venture II. I read about the new cascade, barrel made by Bergara, a good adjustable trigger, cerakote fde with a nice soft touch camo stock, I was sold, of course no one had one. Well I finally happened to find one. Out of the box I fell in love with the looks, feel, balance, weight, trigger, pretty much everything about it. I have owned pretty much every sub 600 dollar rifle on the market and the cascade blows them all away in that price range. So I took some 100 grain cheap hearters ammo for sight in and barrel break in, 1.25” at 100, not too shabby for that ammo, next came the 65 vmax/varget test loads, 1/2” out of the gate, worst charge weight of the test was 1”. Then out came the factory 58 vmax ammo, 3/4”, without really trying, well I’m sold on this rifle guys
